Chaney’s Dairy BarnBowling Green, Kentucky
Ice cream parlors and dairy shops can be found anywhere, but there’s a distinct delivery of delectable flavor in Chaney’s smooth, homemade ice creams and deli sandwiches that cling to the memory making taste buds want more. This old-fashioned barn stands on gently rolling pastures and is also filled with specially selected crafts and foods by Kentucky artisans and farmers leaving a lasting impression on each visitor.

Example #2
Turning of the Leaves Festival
Augusta, Kentucky
www.augustaky.com

The autumn foliage in the charming riverside city of Augusta is the only thing more colorful than the arts featured in the town’s “Turning of the Leaves Festival.” On October 13, all of Main Street is decorated with fall ornamentations to celebrate the labors of visual artists, potters, quilters and woodworkers in this one-day festival. Local restaurants open their doors as well while the entire town comes together in this pleasant festivity.
