Augusta, Kentucky

The autumn foliage in the charming riverside city of Augusta is the only thing more colorful than the arts featured in the town’s “Turning of the Leaves Festival.” On October 13, all of Main Street is decorated with fall ornamentations to celebrate the labors of visual artists, potters, quilters and woodworkers in this one-day festival. Local restaurants open their doors as well while the entire town comes together in this pleasant festivity.
